PosiTile offers easy and quick access to under-floor electric, data and communication wiring, allowing minimum disruption during regular reorganization of commercial workspaces. Each tile features a four-button positioning system affixed to the secondary backing that fits into four matching indentations in the Tate access flooring panel system.
CompuTile features a static-dissipative system for use in areas with high-density electronics. It can also be used in any networked office that requires static control surpassing standard kilovolt (kv) rated carpet protection.
Recommended uses for CompuTile include computer server rooms, customer service call centers, bank data centers, computer labs and any networked offices.
We offer three grades of static control carpet tile products.
Grade 1: Standard kilovolt rated tiles designed to suppress static charge as it relates to feet on carpet. All Shaw tile products are Grade 1.
Grade 2: A grounded system that dissipates static from all sources through an integrated fiber, backing and adhesive system. 33 percent of the yarn contains conductive fibers. All CompuTile products are Grade 2.
Grade 3: A grounded system that dissipates static from all sources through an integrated fiber, backing and adhesive system. One hundred percent of the yarn contains conductive fibers. ESD Tile products are Grade 3.
ESD is the ultimate static-conductive tile system and is used in mission critical environments.
