What is Design?
A close collaboration between the client and the design team resulting in new solutions for the space.
How is Design best illustrated through the project?
As part agency and part measurement consultancy, this creative agency helps blue chip companies increase the predictability of marketing success and minimize the risk of marketing investment.
As a firm, we merge science and creativity to create concepts and campaigns for our clients. Our design firm translated that way of working into a dynamic design for our new space,” says the president and founder. “Our new office will be representational of our culture, energy and vision for interactive marketing.”
Biggest Design Challenge?
Supporting the creative process in new ways and appealing to a younger staff was the challenge to be addressed. Several high-energy, informal brainstorming rooms featuring vibrant and artistic designs will be located throughout the space. A game room for stress relief, huddle rooms and zany brainstorming window boxes have been designed to further support creative brainstorming. Modern shapes, multi-layered and innovative lighting, access to daylight and views of downtown create a vibrant environment.
What made it Innovative or Unique?
Multiple design objectives were tested and retested during the process of searching for the right office lease. The process was iterative and additive and driven by the clients’ and design firms’ research and brainstorming.
How did Design make a difference?
The client wanted to achieve two goals. The first goal was to be able to tour clients through the space to help them understand the agency’s process, so a tour loop was established to expose clients to staff and technology. The second goal was to put in place a new, non-hierarchical workspace strategy, to be configured from Herman Miller’s Resolve. The objective of assigning open workspaces to everyone was to capture Tocquigny’s culture, while driving collaboration.
